Elephant Bar—not so good!

So I have heard good things about Elephant bar and so I went in expecting something good. I was very disappointed with the food we were served. We ordered a spinach artichoke dip, which at most restaurants I like. This dip was so disappointing. It had an odd flavor and was just sorta rubbery. We were all starving though so we ate it. What I ordered was not horrible, but the girls I went with had to send what they got back it tasted so bad. They both ordered the salmon tempura sushi roll and the noodle soup. Both dishes they said were really bad. The tempura sushi was soggy and not at all what they expected. The Asian noodle soup tasted like store bought cup of noodles to both of them. Thankfully our waiter was really friendly and let them both order something new. Instead Jennie got macadamia nut fish n chips, which was probably the best thing at the table. Tiff decided to get beef and noodles, which was good but she was expecting something like a beef stroganoff and this was more Asian flavored. I ordered a Caprese salad with avocado. It was good, but not great. I also decided to get a side of mac n cheese. Sadly this mac n cheese was just lacking in flavor. It wasn’t bad but it could have been a lot better.

The only plus was that the service was good. Our waiter was really understanding and friendly about switching out our food. I think I will not be going back to this place sadly.
