Sabores—Comida Mexicana
Delicious Mexican restaurant across from South Coast Plaza. Not too expensive and the portions are huge. I had 3 tacos, 2 carnitas one chicken, and all three were good. Mixed in with cilantro and onion, the meat was not overcooked, although the corn tortillas were a bit dry. The refried beans and mexican rice was also delicious. The chips were crispy and not too greasy. The guacamole, which I only got a small side of (which I now regret) was yummy, fresh and looked like it had just recently been made. They also have a small salsa bar, which could use a little more, but the salsas are good, just wish they had a few more options and some pico de gallo and other condiments to accompany the food. A very good lunch place, and very convenient for anyone working near South Coast Plaza.
