Chae Bahn
A few days ago a friend of mine suggested Chae Bahn for lunch. She thought it was a Vietnamese Restaurant, but turns out it is Korean. Both of us ordered dumplings, one steamed and one pan fried. They were good, although I would have liked them to have more meat in them. Had they been listed as veggie dumplings then I would have been happier, but as they had some meat mixed in they were a bit of a disappointment. They were however very filling and the restaurant was not skimpy with the serving. Both of us also decided to order the Ramen Soup. It was very good, but definitely had a bit of an after burn. I enjoyed the Ramen, just for me I wish that it had been a little less spicy, you can always add chili paste if necessary. They also served a variety of Korean side dishes, such as kimchi, which came with the meal. I tried a few but I only really liked the kimchi. I do not think I would go here again, but it was nice to try something new.
