A delicious greasy spoon in downtown laguna beach called the Penguin Cafe. Good choices and good service to back it up. I personally love the cream cheese and spinach omelet, which I add quiet a bit extra to. The french toast is tasty, the fries are good, and the breakfast sandwich is another favorite. They have decent ranch for dipping the fries in, so that makes me happy. Never short on refilling the coffee or diet cokes. A great place to go to cure a hang over, minus the alcohol (they dont serve)….they close at two so get there early cuz it fills up quick!!!!
